Vanagon seats come out very easy. I suggest you take yours out, clean them up (super nasty under there), degrease em, and regrease em. Work like a charm. We did this when we ripped up my carpeting in the front and replace the camper carpet with laminate. Cheers, Vanagon lovers!!
