OK.. So after 2 days of working on my subwoofer project I officially found out that it'll all fit and work as I hoped. So now that I know it'll work I'm posting a photo. I bought a gowesty/vab-cafe/rhino center console with the intent on modifying it to house a subwoofer. I could get a 8" sub to fit just fine BUT I am always a little over ambitious and I decided on a shallow mount JL Audio 10" 10TW3-D4 dual voice coil sub. The enclosure fits perfectly, it's a very tight fit indeed. Now I just need to attach the enclosure to the main sides, seal all of the inside corners, apply a vinyl covering and mount the sub. I should have final photos of it tomorrow. I'm excited!
