Dipping into the archive for the #campervan nuts. In the foreground is @campervanculture 's bus, I have him to thank for convincing me to buy a #VW Syncro in the first place. Behind him is probably the greatest #Syncro I've ever seen (the 'gold standard' belonging to Russel, who sold one of his previous vans to me). Behind him there's a #T4 Syncro and another T3 Syncro at the back. We'd just been through some pretty interesting terrain and the ability of the T2/3 Syncros had some Land Rover drivers baffled. The T4 wasn't as capable (lacking ground clearance and diff locks) and so had to take a different route at times, but still did a decent job. Good times, great surf vehicles.
